The field guide / Android
Save and use trade stickers on Android.
Start with one transparent PNG. These illustrated steps explain the real process, not a one-tap keyboard promise.
Checked 8 November 2026. Controls vary by app, account and device.
Step 01
Download one PNG
On an emoji page, tap Download PNG. Open your file manager and find it in Downloads. Browser and phone names vary; search for the emoji filename if needed.

Step 02
Make it available to your app
An app may need the image in your gallery. If Downloads is missing from its picker, copy or move the PNG to Pictures using your file manager, then reopen the app’s photo picker.

Step 03
Use a supported creator
In current WhatsApp, open the sticker tray and choose Create. Telegram also has a sticker editor. Otherwise attach the PNG as an ordinary image from Files or your gallery.

Before you start
Download the original PNG, not a screenshot. Save it to Photos or your gallery where an app needs photo-library access. Never grant full keyboard access or install an unfamiliar app merely to send an image.
Read the platform’s own help. These are independent guides; Trade Emojis is not affiliated with the apps.
