The field guide / Telegram
Make a Telegram trade sticker set.
Start with one transparent PNG. These illustrated steps explain the real process, not a one-tap keyboard promise.
Checked 8 November 2026. Controls vary by app, account and device.
Step 01
Keep the PNG
Download your favourites as PNG files. Our original emoji downloads are 512 × 512. Telegram’s static sticker format accepts PNG or WebP with one side exactly 512 pixels and the other 512 pixels or smaller.

Step 02
Open the editor
In a Telegram chat, open the sticker panel and tap the plus button. Choose your saved image. Check any cutout and outline before sending; preserve the whole design if automatic removal damages it.

Step 03
Save a set
Use Telegram’s editor to add your sticker to a new set. For file-based uploads and pack management, use Telegram’s official @Stickers tool. Follow its size and format prompts, then share the set link Telegram gives you.

Before you start
Download the original PNG, not a screenshot. Save it to Photos or your gallery where an app needs photo-library access. Never grant full keyboard access or install an unfamiliar app merely to send an image.
Read the platform’s own help. These are independent guides; Trade Emojis is not affiliated with the apps.
