The field guide / TikTok

Use trade stickers on TikTok.

Start with one transparent PNG. These illustrated steps explain the real process, not a one-tap keyboard promise.

Checked 8 November 2026. Controls vary by app, account and device.

Step 01

Download your design

Save the transparent PNG to your phone. Use original footage or footage you have permission to use; this guide does not grant rights to other people’s videos.

Step 02

Check the available editor

TikTok’s editing and photo-overlay tools vary by device and account. If your editor offers a photo overlay, import the PNG and position it. Otherwise add the PNG in a video editor that supports image overlays, then export the finished video.

Step 03

Preview before posting

Import your finished video into TikTok. Check that the design is visible, leaves captions clear and stays on screen long enough to read. Review privacy and music permissions before posting.

Before you start

Download the original PNG, not a screenshot. Save it to Photos or your gallery where an app needs photo-library access. Never grant full keyboard access or install an unfamiliar app merely to send an image.

Read the platform’s own help. These are independent guides; Trade Emojis is not affiliated with the apps.
